  • About

Go Dharmic has recently partnered with the local government authority of Uttarakhand and received permission to launch a local social development and Seva centre in Kainchi Dham.

The centre will be located above the Govt School, which Go Dharmic has supported for several years: through the building of a library, as well as through providing teachers, and personally assisting students. Once completed, this centre will further support the development, realise the potential of the local students, and support local jobs.

"Go Dharmic was inspired by the message of Neem Karoli Baba: “to love all, feed all, and serve all. Through serving the local community in Kainchi Dham, we hope to carry out that message." - Hanuman Dass

Once completed, the centre will bring employment opportunities and provide excellent skill acquisition, allowing young workers to move on and gain better positions and produce better results for themselves and the community.

What does the Seva Centre mean?

There is only one school in the local region, and many young adults leave for better job opportunities and training elsewhere. Kainchi Dham has a severe lack of opportunity and talent. As a result, many of the senior and younger members of the community are struggling. This will bring more people to the village and support the next generation.

The Seva centre will also act as a hub for international travellers who visit the village and wish to volunteer and serve with Go Dharmic in the local community.

“In many ways, Kainchi Dham is my spiritual home. We’ve been serving here for a long time and feel extremely privileged that the local government has given us their blessing. It is also wonderful to be near Maharaji’s ashram because Go Dharmic shares that same spiritual love Maharaji so freely displayed. We are confident that Kainchi Dham will rapidly flourish once the centre is finished. This Seva centre is a great opportunity to serve people in the foothills of the Himalayas.” — Hanuman Dass, Go Dharmic, Chairman.

Note: If there are any funds left from this fundraiser, they will be used to support other campaigns of Go Dharmic.
